From early childhood, Chris was exposed to music in wide varieties from his parents. His father played guitar and keyboard by ear, which Chris would always listen intently to well into the night. With a wide ranging music collection in the house at all times he was exposed to everything from Bluegrass, Rock, Pop, Soul, Jazz, Funk, Electronic (Kraftwerk in those days) on down to Country, and Classical. By the early 80s he had a good foundation in music, then came the Breakdance era, a new style of music and culture that he immediately latched on to. Chris would hear and copy mix tapes made by DJs in New York that would filter into his town through friends. He stayed up late on weekend nights trying to bring in a radio show out of Cleveland, Ohio: the Friday night "Clubstyle Show" on 107.9 FM. Chris instantly became fascinated with DJs mixing and scratching.

By the age of 15, he was putting together his own DJ setup and collecting records. Within a year he was Djing and working with rap groups in the neighborhood. At 16, he got his first residency at a local teen club (Razzies) spinning on weekends. For the next couple of years, he spent time making tracks for rap groups and Djing under the name of "Extempore Productions". By 17, he was spinning each weekend at three different clubs (The Cowshed, The Breakaway, Ty's Club) and doing house parties in and around his hometown of Meadville, PA on a regular basis. He would do occasional club spots all around the Northwestern PA/Ohio region as well. Chris spent some time sharing a radio show with a friend at the local college (Allegheny's WARC 90.3 FM) mixing hip-hop. At 18, Chris moved to West Palm Beach Florida and lived there for about a year doing gigs and soaking up the Miami sound.

In 1992, he moved to South Bend, Indiana and settled in. Having been highly influenced by the work of Cameron Paul (Mixx-It Remix Co.), he began building his studio up to do remixing and production. Over the span of 7 years he DJ'd, sold remixes to a couple remix services, made tracks of his own, and worked with several local artists producing tracks and remixes. In 1999, he held a spot on WSMK 99.1 FM, mixing on the "Saturday Night All Request Party". The summer of that same year, he was introduced to the rave scene and instantly fell in love with it! The appreciation of the DJ within this culture was exactly what he had been searching for. By the summer of 2000, he was making pathways into the rave scene as a DJ under the name of "EXT", a snip of his production work: Extempore Productions. Over the next 2 years, he met many new people, making connections and friends and played at various shows around the Midwest from Indianapolis to Ft. Wayne and around the South Bend area. Chris is now making efforts to put together his own tracks and release them full scale in the next year.

  Whats next? Wait and see....
